Meet Shelby Prusak, the co-founder of Prusak and Harkins, LLC. Shelby’s legacy and values are woven into the fabric of our firm. With a career spanning over 40 years in criminal defense, Shelby began her journey defending individuals facing the death penalty.
Over her decades of practice, Shelby managed various State and Federal criminal prosecutions. Shelby also counseled families and loved ones in crisis resulting from the impact of the criminal justice system. Shelby defended multiple jury and bench trials, with a majority of clients securing “Not Guilty” outcomes after litigation.
In 2025, Shelby retired from the practice of law after over 40 years of service. Though Shelby is no longer practicing, she remains an enduring pillar of our firm’s vision, purpose, and mission.
